How To Use Deact 1gm Injection 1 vial

Deact 1gm Injection 1 vial is injected into the patient’s muscles (intramuscular pathway) most commonly or into the patient’s vein (intravenously) by a trained healthcare professional. The area where the needle is to pierce the skin is first disinfected with an alcohol swab or any other disinfectant that the hospital has. Then the needle uncapped, and the solution was injected into the body. The solution is injected slowly. The dosage can be divided into two separate doses, given within 24 hours if need be. The area of the skin where the needle enters may slightly bruise or remain sore for 24 hours. After the injection the needle prick is pressed down (by hand) for 20 seconds, to make sure there is no bleeding and then a band-aid is placed on top. It is advised to not mix Deact 1gm Injection 1 vial with other medicines. The patient is advised to take each dose at the same time each day keeping a 6- or 8-12-hour gap in between each dose.
