How To Use Lanzapin 10mg Capsule ‘S?

Dosage

Adult Dosage 

1-2 tablets a day can be prescribed to patients depending upon their illness being treated.

Child Dosage 

Patients under the age of 13 years are not prescribed Lanzapin 10mg Capsule ‘S. The dosage of patients aged 13 years and above is altered for everyone depending upon the patient’s illness, suicidal thoughts (if any), weight, and age.

Elderly Dosage

Patients aged 65 years and above are prescribed a low dosage of Lanzapin 10mg Capsule ‘S and only, when necessary, as it may worsen age-related dementia.

Pregnancy Use and Lactation

Lanzapin 10mg Capsule ‘S is prescribed to a pregnant only when necessary. If prescribed during the third trimester, Lanzapin 10mg Capsule ‘S may lead to withdrawal symptoms, breathing difficulties, feeding difficulties, irritability, tremors, or limp and stiff muscles in the infant. For breastfeeding women,Lanzapin 10mg Capsule ‘S is not prescribed.

  • Fatigue- Patients experiencing this adverse effect, are advised to take deep breaths, intake tea or coffee, get a good night’s rest, and not overburden themselves for a few days.
  • Feeling drowsy -If the medication makes you feel drowsy or sleepy, stop what you’re doing and sit or lie down until you feel better, and do not rise too fast or immediately from a sitting or lying down position to a standing posture. Do not drive or use tools or machinery in case of any of these effects.
