How Does Myofolic Sachet 1 ‘S Work

Myofolic Sachet 1 ‘S is a combination drug, chemically composed of Myo-inositol and folic acid. Myoinositol is thought to restore excess hormones like LH and androgen within normal limits and decrease insulin resistance. Folic acid in Myofolic Sachet 1 ‘S also aids in developing mature eggs and regulates the monthly cycle. 

Dosing and Indications

Myofolic Sachet 1 ‘S can be used to treat:

Adult Dose

How To Use Myofolic Sachet 1 ‘S

Myofolic Sachet 1 ‘S is available as oral powder, packaged in a sachet. The contents of the sachet should be emptied into a glass of water and stirred.  Myofolic Sachet 1 ‘S is taken as a drink. It is to be taken daily once or twice a day until the prescribed time.

Contraindications

• Hypersensitivity to Myofolic Sachet 1 ‘S
• Disorders of iron metabolism 
• Excessive iron in the blood 
• Allergy to Vitamin B-based products 
• Hypersecretory stomach disorder

Precautions

Please tell your doctor about any of the following conditions before using Myofolic Sachet 1 ‘S:

• Myofolic Sachet 1 ‘S must be used with caution if you have a history of drug-related allergies, especially supplements 
• Before starting Myofolic Sachet 1 ‘S, establish the diagnosis of polycystic ovary disease
• Pelvic ultrasound must be done to establish PCOs diagnosis and monitor the cysts
• Regular monitoring of serum iron and ferritin is advised since Myofolic Sachet 1 ‘S contains folic acid 
• Myofolic Sachet 1 ‘S must be given after consultation with a doctor in case of breastfeeding 
• Myofolic Sachet 1 ‘S is given to treat symptoms of infertility due to PCO, therefore in case of pregnancy discuss with a doctor
• Hormonal profile should be checked regularly
