Neuxam 1mg Tablet 10 ‘S is a medicine belonging to the drug class known as Benzodiazepines, used to treat people suffering from anxiety, depression, panic attacks, insomnia, and in the treatment of alcohol withdrawal. Neuxam 1mg Tablet 10 ‘S is chemically composed of Alprazolam. It helps combat these ailments by enhancing the action of GABA receptors.GABA, a neurotransmitter suppresses the activity of the brain and consequently the symptoms. Benzodiazepines are also commonly prescribed tranquilizers. 

Neuxam 1mg Tablet 10 ‘S is prescribed as per the patient’s requirement. It can be taken thrice daily to patients to be ingested either with or without food. The dosage of Neuxam 1mg Tablet 10 ‘S is dependent upon the patient’s age, medical condition, patient’s response to the drug, any medications patient might be having along with Neuxam 1mg Tablet 10 ‘S and any adverse effects felt by the patient. Dosage 

A tablet a day is prescribed most commonly.   • Immediate Release Formulation:0.25 mg to 0.5 mg usually 3 times per day, 6-8 hourly

  • Dose may be increased in 0.5 mg increments over a period of 3 to 4 days
