Olisa 5mg Tablet 10 ‘S belongs to a group of drugs known as atypical antipsychotics, that help regulate dopamine and serotonin hormone levels in the body. Serotonin is one of the four ‘happiness drugs’ produced naturally by the body. Low levels of serotonin in the body lead to mood swings, depression, insomnia, and other mental ailments, that Olisa 5mg Tablet 10 ‘S can effectively treat.

Olisa 5mg Tablet 10 ‘S’s dosage is entirely dependent upon the patient’s stage and type of illness and how well they respond to Olisa 5mg Tablet 10 ‘S and therefore, each patient has a different dose customized to fit their needs best by a doctor. It is normal to have your dose altered periodically,(especially at the beginning of treatment) by a doctor to best fit the patient’s requirements. How To Use Olisa 5mg Tablet 10 ‘S?

Olisa 5mg Tablet 10 ‘S is advised to be taken with a meal (it can be a light meal) orally (by mouth) with plenty of water to help aid the passage of the tablet. Tablet is not to be crushed or chewed but instead swallowed whole.

Dosage

Adult Dosage 

1-2 tablets a day can be prescribed to patients depending upon their illness being treated.

Child Dosage 

Patients under the age of 13 years are not prescribed Olisa 5mg Tablet 10 ‘S. The dosage of patients aged 13 years and above is altered for everyone depending upon the patient’s illness, suicidal thoughts (if any), weight, and age.

Elderly Dosage

Patients aged 65 years and above are prescribed a low dosage of Olisa 5mg Tablet 10 ‘S and only, when necessary, as it may worsen age-related dementia.

Pregnancy Use and Lactation

Olisa 5mg Tablet 10 ‘S is prescribed to a pregnant woman only when necessary. If prescribed during the third trimester, Olisa 5mg Tablet 10 ‘S may lead to withdrawal symptoms, breathing difficulties, feeding difficulties, irritability, tremors, or limp and stiff muscles in the infant. For breastfeeding women,Olisa 5mg Tablet 10 ‘S is not prescribed.
