About

Venice XR 75mg Capsule 14 ‘S is an anti-depressant belonging to a class of drugs known as selective serotonin and norepinephrine reuptake inhibitors (SNRIs).  It is prescribed to adults for the treatment of anxiety or obsessive-compulsive/panic disorders and other major depressive disorders. Venice XR 75mg Capsule 14 ‘S is chemically composed of Venlafaxine, available as oral capsules to be taken strictly under doctor’s prescription.

Venlafaxine contained in the Venice XR 75mg Capsule 14 ‘S imposes mood-elevating effects as it increases the levels of neurotransmitters like serotonin, norepinephrine, and dopamine (mood elevators) by blocking their re-uptake by the neuron, thereby maintaining its availability for a longer time period than usual.

Venice XR 75mg Capsule 14 ‘S can be prescribed to adults 18 years and above, the dosage of which depends on age, the severity of the condition, the patient’s response to medicine, and their comorbidities.  Venice XR 75mg Capsule 14 ‘S is started on low doses which are gradually increased.  It can take 4-6 weeks or sometimes longer for Venice XR 75mg Capsule 14 ‘S to start showing effects.
