Alzagan Eye 5ml Drop 1 ‘S is prescribed to patients suffering from increased intraocular pressure and glaucoma.Alpha 2 receptors in the eye are in charge of regulating intraocular pressure of the eye and thereby by selectively stimulating these receptors,Alzagan Eye 5ml Drop 1 ‘S is able to reduce the production of fluid (aqueous humor) in the eye as well as causing an outflow of aqueous humor from the eye.Alzagan Eye 5ml Drop 1 ‘S is not prescribed to patients under the age of 18 years and is prescribed to pregnant and lactating mothers only if necessary and under the supervision of a doctor.

A drop of Alzagan Eye 5ml Drop 1 ‘S in each eye is the recommended dosage.The dosage can be increased to two drops or reduced depending on the patient’s stage of illness and any adverse effects felt by the patient.Alzagan Eye 5ml Drop 1 ‘S must be applied with clean hands,make sure the eyedropper or tube tip doesn’t touch the surface of the eye or any other surface.It is imperative that the tip of the dropper/tube and hands are always clean before the application of Alzagan Eye 5ml Drop 1 ‘S.Make sure to shake Alzagan Eye 5ml Drop 1 ‘S container well before each use and to replace the cap of the Alzagan Eye 5ml Drop 1 ‘S immediately after each use.

To apply Alzagan Eye 5ml Drop 1 ‘S,pull the head back slightly,then the lower eyelid is pulled down to create a small space where a drop of solution from the tip is applied.Close eye for a minute or two after Alzagan Eye 5ml Drop 1 ‘S application,while applying pressure at the inner corner of the eye (area near the nose) to prevent solution from draining into the nasal and/or oral passages.Do not rub or blink after applying eye drops.If the recommended dosage is more than one drop of Alzagan Eye 5ml Drop 1 ‘S then the above steps are to be repeated.{{product} may cause blurred vision,headache and dry eyes,these effects are temporary and tend to resolve on their own in a few days’ time.

Adult Dosage 

A drop in each eye is recommended to patients to be applied twice daily.

Child Dosage
