How Does Flagyl 200mg/5ml Suspension 90 ml Work
{{Product}} has “Metronidazole” as an active therapeutic agent. It contains a nitro group in its structure that is reduced to a chemically active form in the hypoxic cells (cells with a lack of oxygen) or when anaerobes are around. This active component causes biochemical lesions in the cells and causes cell death. Metronidazole produces its action in the DNA of an anaerobic bacterial cell by causing the loss of DNA helical structure and inhibiting synthesis.
How To Use Flagyl 200mg/5ml Suspension 90 ml
Take the 1 to 2 teaspoons full orally (by mouth) with or without meal according to the recommended dosing schedule which is usually 2 to 3 times a day. Avoid using alcohol during the treatment and 3 days after having the last dose.
