Ferti-C 5000IU Injection 1 vial

Description

About

The process of human development and childbirth is a uniquely navigated stepwise process stretching over 9 months, starting with conception. A few hormones are released naturally during the process, Human Chorionic Gonadotropin is one of the earliest markers of pregnancy released by a tissue that forms the baby sac – “placenta” in the future. HCG and luteinizing hormone, both serve an important function in the development of secondary sexual characteristics and hence fertility. For conditions resulting due to a lack of these key hormones resulting in fertility problems, they can be given as an exogenous source.  Ferti-C 5000IU Injection 1 vial is a potent hormone-based drug that belongs to a class of medicines called Gonadotropins used to treat various conditions causing fertility problems in both men and women, as well as young boys with undescended testicles.

Ferti-C 5000IU Injection 1 vial is chemically composed of Human Chorionic Gonadotropin, which works at Luteinizing hormone/choriogonadotropin receptors. It helps with the process of releasing mature eggs from the female ovary and the maintenance of pregnancy afterward along with certain other hormones like progesterone that supports the pregnancy. Overall Ferti-C 5000IU Injection 1 vial enhances the fertility of women struggling to conceive.  In males Ferti-C 5000IU Injection 1 vial helps release androgenic hormones like testosterone, consequently improving sperm count in males among other benefits. The frequency of intake and duration depends on the condition under treatment.

Ferti-C 5000IU Injection 1 vial is available in the form of a dry powder and a liquid in a separate glass container to be combined in an appropriate ratio to form an injectable solution. An injection is to be given directly into the muscles or underneath the skin as advised by the doctor. Dosage of Ferti-C 5000IU Injection 1 vial depends on the nature of the condition, the patient’s response to the medicine, age, and comorbidities. It can be safely administered to adult men and women as well as young boys as indicated. Where HCG supports pregnancy and increases the chance of conception, whether it can be taken once pregnancy starts, is unclear due to the lack of relevant data on pregnant humans. Animal studies reveal birth defects with its use. And use by lactating women without a doctor’s consult is not suggested. Common side effects of this medication are pain at the site of injection headache, dizziness, mood changes, precocious puberty, fatigue, enlarged breasts, and others.

It comes packed in two separate glass containers, one with dry powder and one containing the solution. A new sterile syringe is used to withdraw the solution from the liquid vial and carefully transferred to a vial containing powder to form an injectable solution.
