  • Chronic Hepatitis C

Adult Dose

The course of treatment: 12 weeks

1 tablet (of 100 mg / 400 mg) once a day, taken orally

*In case of decompensated liver cirrhosis, ribavirin is also prescribed, also duration can be extended to 24 weeks when indicated

Child Dose

Not prescribed to individuals below 18 years of age

Elderly Dose

How To Use Abriva Plus 400mg+100mg Tablet 7 ‘S

Abriva Plus 400mg+100mg Tablet 7 ‘S is available in form of oral tablets to be taken with a glass of water, once a day regardless of the meal. Do not crush or chew the tablets. In case you are also taking antacids, take this medicine 4 hours before, or after taking  Abriva Plus 400mg+100mg Tablet 7 ‘S. Strictly follow the doses as advised by your doctor.

Precautions

  • Use fool-proof contraceptive methods while using Abriva Plus 400mg+100mg Tablet 7 ‘S. Pregnancy must be avoided during and at least 6 months after termination of treatment.
  • If you are under treatment for HIV, close professional  monitoring is advised
  • History of heart diseases and have recently taken Anti-arrhythmic drugs like amiodarone in the last few months or presently, inform your doctor since it can severely affect your heart rate in which case an alternate is advised
  • Serological tests may be conducted periodically to check the response to this drug. Always inform lab personnel about your current medicines
