The drug aids by blocking acetylcholine (a neurotransmitter) and thereby, aid in expanding the airways in the lungs by helping the lung muscles to relax and expand. These actions make it easy for air to flow in and out of the lungs thereby making sure that sufficient oxygen is reaching the human body.

Tiovair 18mcg Capsule 10 ‘S is available upon prescription in a capsule, meant to go inside an inhaler, so that patients may inhale the powdered form of the medicine. To use Tiovair 18mcg Capsule 10 ‘S, first, remove the cap off the inhaler and place the capsule inside the inhaler (there is a separate area designated for the insertion of the capsule). Once the capsule is in place, the mouthpiece of the inhaler is meant to rest in between the lips, at the opening of the mouth.
