How To Use Evokalm XR 300mg Tablet 10 ‘S 

Evokalm XR 300mg Tablet 10 ‘S is advised to be taken with a meal (it can be a light meal) orally (by mouth) with plenty of water to help aid the passage of the tablet.Tablet is not to be crushed or chewed but instead swallowed whole. 

It is advised to not stop treatment abruptly once the patient feels better (usually after a few days) without consulting a doctor.If you miss a dose of the medication, make sure you take it as soon as possible on that same day. If you don’t remember you missed the dose until the next day, do not double the dose and take your medication as per schedule as that may lead to serious adverse effects.

Dosage

Adult Dosage 

1-3 tablets a day can be prescribed to patients depending upon their illness being treated.

Child Dosage 

Patients under the age of 10 years are not prescribed Evokalm XR 300mg Tablet 10 ‘S.Dosage of patients aged 10 years and above is altered for each individual depending upon the patient’s illness,suicidal thoughts (if any),weight and age.

Elderly Dosage

Patients aged 65 years and above are prescribed a low dosage of Evokalm XR 300mg Tablet 10 ‘S and only when absolutely necessary,as it may worsen age related dementia.

Pregnancy Use And Lactation

Evokalm XR 300mg Tablet 10 ‘S is prescribed to pregnant women only when absolutely necessary.If prescribed during the third trimester, Evokalm XR 300mg Tablet 10 ‘S may lead to withdrawal symptoms,breathing difficulties,feeding difficulties,irritability,tremors or limp and stiff muscles in the infant.For breastfeeding women,Evokalm XR 300mg Tablet 10 ‘S is not prescribed.
