Staxin IV 400mg/250ml Injection 1 vial contains Moxifloxacin as an active ingredient. Staxin IV 400mg/250ml Injection 1 vial is a bactericidal antibiotic whose mechanism of action involves binding to an enzyme called DNA gyrase, which facilitates the untwisting required to replicate one DNA double helix into two.

Moxifloxacin’s bactericidal effect is due to inhibition of the enzymes topoisomerase II (DNA gyrase) and topoisomerase IV.
