Terbiderm 1% Cream 10 gm belongs to a group of chemicals known as azoles and aids in reducing fungal infections such as fungal nail infection,athlete’s foot,vaginal yeast infections,ringworm infections and similar illnesses.Azoles work by altering the permeability of the fungal cell walls allowing the human body’s natural defenses to eliminate the infection. 

A thin layer of Terbiderm 1% Cream 10 gm is to be applied on the skin with clean hands 1-2 times per day or as advised by the physician.Terbiderm 1% Cream 10 gm is to be used under the care and supervision of a doctor and for a specified period of time only.Application/usage of Terbiderm 1% Cream 10 gm is not be stopped abruptly as that may lead to a recurrence of the ailment,therefore,patients are advised to not stop using the Terbiderm 1% Cream 10 gm once they see or feel an improvement in their symptoms,which is likely to occur 2-3 weeks after starting treatment with Terbiderm 1% Cream 10 gm.

How To Use Terbiderm 1% Cream 10 gm

A thin layer of Terbiderm 1% Cream 10 gm is to be applied on the skin with clean hands 1-2 times per day or as advised by the physician,for 2 weeks.Do not use a rough hand and just gently apply Terbiderm 1% Cream 10 gm on the affected area.Terbiderm 1% Cream 10 gm is not meant to be covered after application if Terbiderm 1% Cream 10 gm is being used on diaper rashes;caretakers are advised to losely fasten diapers in such situations.

Elderly Dosage 

For patients aged 65 years and above,Terbiderm 1% Cream 10 gm is prescribed only when necessary and under the care and supervision of a doctor.A small dose of Terbiderm 1% Cream 10 gm is prescribed and for a limited number of days.
