Rashnil 8.5%+0.1% Cream 20 gm contains Benzalkonium Chloride and Zinc Oxide; it’s been designed to provide relief for children suffering from diaper rashes or skin rash and/or sunburn in adults.

How Does Rashnil 8.5%+0.1% Cream 20 gm Work

Rashnil 8.5%+0.1% Cream 20 gm comes packaged with antibacterial, antifungal (Benzalkonium Chloride) properties as well as an antiseptic (Zinc Oxide) that aids in restoring the skin’s natural protective barrier.

Dosing and Indications

Rashnil Cream can be used to treat: 

  • Sunburn 
  • Skin irritation 
  • Nappy rash 
  • Minor skin infections 
  • Eczema 
  • Haemorrhoids

Adult Dosage 

Rashnil 8.5%+0.1% Cream 20 gm is to be applied to the affected area of the skin, once or twice daily.

Child Dosage 

Rashnil 8.5%+0.1% Cream 20 gm is to be applied as per the physician’s advice; most commonly parents are advised to apply a thin layer of cream as per the child’s needs.

How To Use Rashnil 8.5%+0.1% Cream 20 gm

A thin layer of Rashnil 8.5%+0.1% Cream 20 gm is to be applied on the skin with clean hands 1-2 times per day or as advised by the physician, for 2 weeks or as per the individual’s needs. Do not use a rough hand and just gently apply Rashnil 8.5%+0.1% Cream 20 gm to the affected area. Rashnil 8.5%+0.1% Cream 20 gm is not meant to be covered after application.

Rashnil 8.5%+0.1% Cream 20 gm is to be used under the care and supervision of a doctor and for a specified period only. Patients are advised to not stop using the Rashnil 8.5%+0.1% Cream 20 gm without consulting a physician, once they see or feel an improvement in their symptoms.

Side Effects

Tell your healthcare supervisor immediately, if you experience any of the following symptoms:

  • Allergic contact dermatitis
  • Stinging sensation of the skin 
  • Temporary redness of the skin 

Contraindications

Please tell your doctor if you have a history of any of the following before using Rashnil 8.5%+0.1% Cream 20 gm:

  • Allergy to Rashnil 8.5%+0.1% Cream 20 gm or any other medicine (especially any antibiotic) or food substance 
  • Open wounds 
  • Blistered skin 
  • Moderate to severe Kidney disease
  • Moderate to severe Liver disease 
  • Skin infections
