Dosage
Adult Dosage
A tablet or two once-daily of 60 mg or 120 mg is commonly prescribed to patients aged 18 years and above. 180 mg may be given if the patient is suffering from chronic idiopathic urticaria.
Child Dosage
A tablet a day or 30mg tablet twice daily; is commonly prescribed to patients aged 12 years.
180 mg is prescribed for 12-18 years if symptoms of chronic idiopathic urticaria are observed. Patients under the age of 12 years and below are not recommended Alofex 60mg Tablet 10 ‘S. Patients under the age of 12 years are prescribed the suspension form of this drug.
Elderly Dosage
A low dose prescription of Alofex 60mg Tablet 10 ‘S might be prescribed if the patient is suffering from kidney or liver impairment.
