Olonase Nasal 0.60% Spray 20 ml belongs to a group of chemicals known as antihistamines that work by blocking histamine and its effects on the human body.

How To Use Olonase Nasal 0.60% Spray 20 ml

Olonase Nasal 0.60% Spray 20 ml must be applied with clean hands,make sure the eyedropper or tube tip doesn’t touch the surface of the eye or any other surface.It is imperative that the tip of the dropper/tube and hands are always clean before the application of Olonase Nasal 0.60% Spray 20 ml.Make sure to shake Olonase Nasal 0.60% Spray 20 ml container well before each use and to replace the cap of the Olonase Nasal 0.60% Spray 20 ml immediately after each use.

To apply Olonase Nasal 0.60% Spray 20 ml,pull the head back slightly,then the lower eyelid is pulled down to create a small space where a drop of solution from the tip is applied.Close eye for a minute or two after Olonase Nasal 0.60% Spray 20 ml application,while applying pressure at the inner corner of the eye (area near the nose) to prevent solution from draining into the nasal and/or oral passages.Do not rub or blink after applying eye drops.If the recommended dosage is more than one drop of Olonase Nasal 0.60% Spray 20 ml then the above steps are to be repeated.

Before applying any other eyedrop that might be prescribed along with Olonase Nasal 0.60% Spray 20 ml,the patient is to wait 5-10 minutes.Olonase Nasal 0.60% Spray 20 ml is recommended to be applied at the same time each day and for the recommended time period.Excess of Olonase Nasal 0.60% Spray 20 ml may be wiped clean with a clean tissue or cloth.Olonase Nasal 0.60% Spray 20 ml is not to be stopped abruptly even after experiencing a decrease in symptoms without consulting a physician.

Dosage

Adult Dosage 

A drop per day,in each eye is recommended to patients.

Child Dosage 

A drop per day,in each eye is recommended to patients aged 2 years and above.Olonase Nasal 0.60% Spray 20 ml is deemed unsafe to be administered in patients under the age of 2 years.

Pregnancy Use And Lactation

Olonase Nasal 0.60% Spray 20 ml is to be prescribed to pregnant women only if very necessary and under the care and supervision of an opthamologist.Same goes for breastfeeding mothers as trace amount of Olonase Nasal 0.60% Spray 20 ml is seen in breastmilk.
