Rasbid 100mg Tablet 5 ‘S is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) which is a painkiller effective against medium to extreme pain. It helps in alleviating swelling, stiffness, tenderness, and pain in conditions such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, dysmenorrhea, gout, muscle pain, migraine and dental pain. It is also an antipyretic.Â
Rasbid 100mg Tablet 5 ‘S should ideally be taken with food to avoid any stomach disturbance. The treatment should be continued until the doctor advises for it to be stopped even if you start feeling better.Â
Before the medication is started, you must inform your doctor about any illnesses in advance, such as cardiac issues, stomach ulcers, liver problems, kidney problems and if you have previously ever reacted to an NSAID painkiller. It works by blocking the release of the enzyme that produces prostaglandins which cause fever, pain, and inflammation. As a result the pain is alleviated.
How to use product
Take Rasbid 100mg Tablet 5 ‘S orally with food to avoid upsetting the stomach. Swallow it with water or milk.
DosageÂ
Rasbid 100mg Tablet 5 ‘S is to be taken in the dosage your doctor prescribes you which could be divided into twice or thrice a day. It is to be taken in the least possible amount which is effective and its duration should not unnecessarily be extended. A maximum dose of 300mg per day should not be exceeded.
Adult dosageÂ
- In pain and inflammation management associated with muscles and joints: 150-200mg per day in divided doses. In increased pain, upto 300mg/day can be given.
