Betacin-N Cream 15gm 1 ‘S effectively combines a corticosteroid (betamethasone) and an antibiotic (neomycin) to eliminate bacterial infections and inflammation on the skin.Corticosteroids work by inhibiting the production of proteins that lead to inflammation by interacting with the human DNA sequence and preventing the transcription of proteins needed in an inflammatory process.Where as,antibiotic works by reducing the proliferation of bacteria and eliminating it from the body.
A thin layer of Betacin-N Cream 15gm 1 ‘S is to be applied on the skin with clean hands 1-2 times per day or as advised by the physician.Betacin-N Cream 15gm 1 ‘S is to be used under the care and supervision of a doctor and for a specified period of time only.Application/usage of Betacin-N Cream 15gm 1 ‘S is not be stopped abruptly as that may lead to a recurrence of the ailment,therefore,Betacin-N Cream 15gm 1 ‘S is gradually tapered off.Patients are advised to not stop using the Betacin-N Cream 15gm 1 ‘S once they see or feel an improvement in their symptoms,which is likely to occur 2-3 weeks after starting treatment with Betacin-N Cream 15gm 1 ‘S.

Adult Dosage
A thin film of Betacin-N Cream 15gm 1 ‘S is to be applied once or twice a day,as instructed by a physician.
Child Dosage
Betacin-N Cream 15gm 1 ‘S is not deemed safe enough to be prescribed to patients aged 2 years and younger.For patients aged 24 months and above,Betacin-N Cream 15gm 1 ‘S is considered safe and prescribed when necessary and under the care and supervision of a doctor.Betacin-N Cream 15gm 1 ‘S is not recommended to be used for more than 7 days.
Elderly Dosage
For eldery patients the dosage of the drug may be lower than normal due to decreased kidney function,Betacin-N Cream 15gm 1 ‘S may not be effectively removed from the body and so,in such cases the doctor may prescribe an altered dose of the Betacin-N Cream 15gm 1 ‘S.
