Quinoflox 0.30% Drop 5 ml is available in a liquid format that comes packaged in a bottle attached to a dropper head to aid its transfer to either the eyes or the ear.Quinoflox 0.30% Drop 5 ml is prescribed as treatment for bacterial eye and ear infections as this drug is able to prevent the multiplication of the bacteria and reduce the number of bacteria present at any given time.Quinoflox 0.30% Drop 5 ml is to be used for bacterial infections only;it won’t be efficient for fungal infections.
Quinoflox 0.30% Drop 5 ml is to be applied throughout the day,with each dose evenly spaced out the day keeping a minimum of 4 hour gap between each dose.The dosage can be increased to two drops every 2 hours or reduced depending on the patient’s stage of illness and any adverse effects felt by the patient.Quinoflox 0.30% Drop 5 ml must be applied with clean hands,make sure the eyedropper or tube tip doesn’t touch the surface of the eye or any other surface.It is imperative that the tip of the dropper/tube and hands are always clean before the application of Quinoflox 0.30% Drop 5 ml.Make sure to shake Quinoflox 0.30% Drop 5 ml container well before each use and to replace the cap of the Quinoflox 0.30% Drop 5 ml immediately after each use.

For Eye: Quinoflox 0.30% Drop 5 ml must be applied with clean hands,make sure the eyedropper or tube tip doesn’t touch the surface of the eye or any other surface.It is imperative that the tip of the dropper/tube and hands are always clean before the application of Quinoflox 0.30% Drop 5 ml.Make sure to shake Quinoflox 0.30% Drop 5 ml container well before each use and to replace the cap of the Quinoflox 0.30% Drop 5 ml immediately after each use.
To apply Quinoflox 0.30% Drop 5 ml,pull the head back slightly,then the lower eyelid is pulled down to create a small space where a drop of solution from the tip is applied.Close eye for a minute or two after Quinoflox 0.30% Drop 5 ml application,while applying pressure at the inner corner of the eye (area near the nose) to prevent solution from draining into the nasal and/or oral passages.Do not rub or blink after applying eye drops.If the recommended dosage is more than one drop of Quinoflox 0.30% Drop 5 ml then the above steps are to be repeated.
Before applying any other eyedrop that might be prescribed along with Quinoflox 0.30% Drop 5 ml,the patient is to wait 5-10 minutes.Quinoflox 0.30% Drop 5 ml is recommended to be applied at the same time each day and for the recommended time period.Excess of Quinoflox 0.30% Drop 5 ml may be wiped clean with a clean tissue or cloth.Quinoflox 0.30% Drop 5 ml is not to be stopped abruptly even after experiencing a decrease in symptoms as Quinoflox 0.30% Drop 5 ml is meant to be tapered off and stopping it before time may even result in a return of bacterial infection

Child Dosage
Dosage depends on the illness being treated.For ear infections 4 drops are advised to be dropped in each ear.Patients may be asked to use Quinoflox 0.30% Drop 5 ml twice a day.For eye infections,2 drops in each eye is the advised dosage,to be inserted twice daily or as advised by the physician.
Elderly Dosage

Pregnancy Use And Lactation
Quinoflox 0.30% Drop 5 ml may be prescribed to pregnant women only when necessary and under the supervision of a physician.There is not sufficient evidence to prove that Quinoflox 0.30% Drop 5 ml passes into breast milk and is not commonly prescribed to breastfeeding mothers unless absolutely necessary.
