About

Herbesser SR 90mg Capsule 10 ‘S is a drug that belongs to a class of medicines known as “Anti-hypertensive”. This drug is prescribed to patients with high blood pressure (normal blood pressure for adults is usually 120/80 mmHg) and to treat patients with mild to moderate chronic heart conditions such as angina thus Herbesser SR 90mg Capsule 10 ‘S is very effective in decreasing the risk of future heart diseases like stroke and heart failure. Hypertension if left untreated can cause severe damage to the brain, heart, kidney, blood vessels, and other body organs and may have life-threatening consequences.

The pumping mechanism of the heart is dependent upon certain factors; calcium is one of the regulating factors. Herbesser SR 90mg Capsule 10 ‘S is chemically composed of Diltiazem, a calcium channel blocker involved in slowing down the heart rate and conduction, by reducing the high pressure within the vessels, creating an added pressure on the heart muscle. It does so by causing the tone of vessels to decrease, widen and be in a relaxed state. It also decreases the oxygen requirement needed by the heart muscle. The medicine starts working within 3 to 6 hours of taking it.  Herbesser SR 90mg Capsule 10 ‘S is not considered safe during pregnancy and breastfeeding as well as children under 18 years of age must not use it. Please follow the doctor’s prescription strictly.

A tablet per day is commonly prescribed to patients to be swallowed with water either with or without a meal but this can vary to 2 to 3 times depending on the type of release mechanism of this medicine and your condition. Herbesser SR 90mg Capsule 10 ‘S is to be taken regularly, preferably at the same time each day to help the patient remember their daily dose. The medicine starts working within 3 to 6 hours of taking it orally. It is important to not stop taking Herbesser SR 90mg Capsule 10 ‘S abruptly without consulting a doctor first even if the patient is no longer suffering from common symptoms of hypertension as ceasing the intake of the medicine has reported cases of rebound hypertension (the re-emergence). The most common side effects observed with Herbesser SR 90mg Capsule 10 ‘S include low blood pressure,  fatigue, dizziness, and skin rash.
