Sustac 6.4mg Tablet 30 ‘S is categorized as a subliminal drug;meaning that it is best absorbed by the body when placed in the mouth,under the tongue.Dosage is dependent upon the severity of the pain experienced by the patient but more than 3 sublingual tablets at any given time is not advised.Patients ought to discuss with their physician before ceasing intake of the medicine even if the patient is no longer suffering from common symptoms of angina,as that may lead to an increased risk in patients experiencing chest pains.

Sustac 6.4mg Tablet 30 ‘S aids in relieving chest pain by widening the blood vessels (increasing the diameter of the blood vessels),thereby allowing more blood and oxygen to flow to the heart and its muscles.
How To Use Sustac 6.4mg Tablet 30 ‘S
Sustac 6.4mg Tablet 30 ‘S is categorized as a subliminal drug;meaning that it is best absorbed by the body when placed in the mouth,under the tongue.After placing the Sustac 6.4mg Tablet 30 ‘S correctly,patients are asked to patiently wait for the drug to dissolve and get absorbed into the body.Sustac 6.4mg Tablet 30 ‘S is a fast acting drug that dissolves and brings relief to patients within 5 minutes.If after 5 minutes,the patient is still experiencing pain in their left arm,chest pain and shortness of breath;a second tablet is administered.
It is safe to administer up to 3 sublingual tablets at a time,if after these 3 tablets the symptoms don’t decrease or go away;it’s advised to rush the patient to the hospital as these chest pains can lead to a heart attack.Sustac 6.4mg Tablet 30 ‘S is not meant to be chewed or swallowed.It is advised to not stop treatment abruptly without consulting a doctor as the risk of heart failure and stroke is significantly increased without the drug.
If you miss a dose of the medication, make sure you take it as soon as possible on that same day. If you don’t remember you missed the dose until the next day, do not double the dose and take your medication as per schedule as that will lead to serious adverse effects. If this happens very often, try setting an alarm as a reminder.

Elderly Dosage
