Famvir 250mg Tablet 21 ‘S can be used to treat:

ADULT DOSAGE
SHINGLES: Patients aged 18 years and above are prescribed 750MG once a day for 7 days. As an alternative treatment, patients may be prescribed 250MG of the drug; to be ingested three times a day for 7 days.
IMMUNO-COMPROMISED PATIENTS: Are commonly prescribed 500MG of the drug to be ingested thrice daily, for 10 days.
GENITAL HERPES: Patients aged 18 years and above are prescribed 250MG thrice a day for 5 days. If re-infection occurs, 125MG of the drug may be prescribed for ingestion for 7 days, twice daily.
How To Use Famvir 250mg Tablet 21 ‘S
Famvir 250mg Tablet 21 ‘S comes packaged in tablet form and is preferably ingested with meals, milk, or water. These tablets are meant to be ingested whole, without chewing or crushing them. Patients are asked to set an alarm to not forget to ingest Famvir 250mg Tablet 21 ‘S.
If you miss a dose of the medication, make sure you take it as soon as possible on that same day. If you don’t remember you missed the dose until the next dose time or the next day, do not double the dose and take your medication as per schedule.
