Santodex Ophthalmic 0.3 %+0.1 % Ointment 3.5 gm perfectly combines an corticosteroid (dexamethasone) and an antibiotic (tobramycin) in an eye ointment used to fight off bacterial eye infections.With the combination of these two chemical groups,Santodex Ophthalmic 0.3 %+0.1 % Ointment 3.5 gm is able to prevent the multiplication of the bacteria and reduce and eye swelling at the same time.
Santodex Ophthalmic 0.3 %+0.1 % Ointment 3.5 gm is prescribed for patients suffering from uveitis,any eye injury,radiation or chemical burn that may result in an inflammatory reaction in the eye.Santodex Ophthalmic 0.3 %+0.1 % Ointment 3.5 gm is not prescribed to patients suffering from viral or fungal eye infections.Santodex Ophthalmic 0.3 %+0.1 % Ointment 3.5 gm is not prescribed to patients under the age of 2 years and is prescribed to pregnant and lactating mothers only is necessary and under the supervision of a doctor.
