Vinjec 500mg Injection 1 vial belongs to a widespread chemical group known as antibiotics. Vinjec 500mg Injection 1 vial works by preventing the growth/multiplication of the bacteria in the human body thus eradicating the infection.

How To Use Vinjec 500mg Injection 1 vial

Vinjec 500mg Injection 1 vial is injected slowly (at least over 60 minutes, each dose) into the patient’s vein (intravenously) by a trained healthcare professional. The area where the needle is to pierce the skin is first disinfected with an alcohol swab or any other disinfectant that the hospital has. Then the needle is uncapped and the solution is injected into the body. The dosage can be administered once every 6 hours if needed. The area of the skin where the needle enters may slightly bruise or remain sore for 24 hours. After the injection the needle prick is pressed down (by hand) for 20 seconds, to make sure there is no bleeding and then a band-aid is placed on top.

Adult Dosage

500mg of the drug is infused into the patient’s veins, once every 6 hours, for a specified number of days. Dosage of Vinjec 500mg Injection 1 vial may be decreased if the patient is underweight or has mild to moderate Kidney damage.

Loading Dose: 15mg/kg 

Child Dosage

Vinjec 500mg Injection 1 vial is safe to be administered to children aged 18 years and below with normal kidney and hearing functions. The dosage for children is lower than the dosage for adults and is dependent upon their weight, infection being treated, patient’s response to treatment, and any adverse effects felt by the patient. Dosage to administer may be evaluated upon the basis of 10mg/kg of body weight, once every 6 hours for a specified number of days.

Loading Dose: 15mg/kg 

Elderly Dosage 

For elderly patients that are susceptible to kidney and liver problems, a lowered dose of Vinjec 500mg Injection 1 vial may be prescribed under the care and supervision of a physician.

Pregnancy Use And Lactation
