Maximum Dose: 200 to 300 mg per day

Congestive heart failure

Used as a combination medicine with nitrates in heart failure,

Starting Dose: 10 to 25 mg given orally, every 6 to 8 hours

Adjustment is done every 2 to 4 weeks while monitoring the response

Maintenance dose: 225-300 mg/day given orally, every 6 to 8 hours

Essential Hypertension

Starting Dose: 10 mg given orally 4 times a day, every 6 hours for 2 to 4 days

First week:  increase the dose to  25 mg given orally, every 6 to 8 hours

Second Week: 50 mg orally, every 6 hours

Dose adjustment: Adjust to a minimally effective dose

Child dosage

Hydralazine 25mg Tablet 10 ‘S is not prescribed to children due to insufficient scientific evidence regarding safety

In cases where it may be prescribed like heart failure and afterload reduction, the oral dose will be decided by the doctor considering certain factors. IM and IV forms can be administered in prescribed doses in a hospital setting

Elderly Dosage
