- MONOTHERAPY:

Your doctor may increase your daily dose every week by 50 mg (5 ml). This will be until you reach a maintenance dose of between 100 mg (10 ml) and 300 mg (30 ml) twice a day.
- DUAL THERAPY:
When you take {{PRODUCT}} in combination with other antiepileptic medicines the usual starting dose of {{product} is 50 mg (5 ml) twice a day. Your doctor may increase your twice-daily dose every week by 50 mg (5 ml). This will be until you reach a maintenance dose of between 100 mg (10 ml) and 200 mg (20 ml) twice a day.
SWITCHING FROM ORAL TO INTRAVENOUS DOSING:
When switching from oral Lalap 10mg/ml Syrup 100 ml the initial total daily intravenous dosage of Lalap 10mg/ml Syrup 100 ml should be equivalent to the total daily dosage and frequency of oral Lalap 10mg/ml Syrup 100 ml and should be given IV over 30 to 60 minutes.
SWITCHING FROM INTRAVENOUS TO ORAL DOSING:
At the end of the intravenous treatment period, the patient may be switched to oral Lalap 10mg/ml Syrup 100 ml administration at the equivalent daily dosage and frequency of the intravenous administration.
PATIENTS WITH RENAL IMPAIRMENT:
No dose adjustment is necessary for patients with mild to moderate renal impairment. A maximum dose of 300mg/day of Lalap 10mg/ml Syrup 100 ml is recommended for patients with severe renal impairment.
PATIENTS WITH HEPATIC IMPAIRMENT:
The dose calculation should be done with caution in patients with hepatic impairment. A maximum dose of 300mg/day is recommended for patients with mild or moderate hepatic impairment. Lalap 10mg/ml Syrup 100 ml is not recommended in patients with severe hepatic impairment.
Pregnancy And Lactation
There are no satisfactory and well-controlled studies about the Lalap 10mg/ml Syrup 100 ml in pregnant women. Lalap 10mg/ml Syrup 100 ml should be used during pregnancy only if the possible benefit validates the possible risk to the fetus.
