Lalap 200mg/20ml Injection 1 vial works by decreasing the spread of seizure activity in the brain. Lalap 200mg/20ml Injection 1 vial comes in tablet, syrup, and injection form. Lalap 200mg/20ml Injection 1 vial is combined with other medications to treat tonic-clonic (involve whole-body) seizures. {{PRODUCT}} is not recommended in individuals below the age of 16.
Lalap 200mg/20ml Injection 1 vial should be used with caution in patients with cardiac history as it may cause heart block, coronary artery disease, and fibrillations. Lalap 200mg/20ml Injection 1 vial causes adverse effects such as dizziness, drowsiness, blurred vision, nausea, and vomiting.

HOW TO USE Lalap 200mg/20ml Injection 1 vial?
The dosage of Lalap 200mg/20ml Injection 1 vial is based on your medical condition and response to treatment. To lower the chances of side effects doctors may start dosage from a lower dose and increase gradually. Lalap 200mg/20ml Injection 1 vial works best when it is kept at a constant level in the body and is taken at evenly spaced times. Dosage
IV INFUSION DOSAGE & ADMINISTRATION.
Lalap 200mg/20ml Injection 1 vial should be administered intravenously and can be mixed with any of the following diluents IV intravenously. Sodium Chloride Injection 0.9%, Dextrose Injection 5% & Lactated Ringer’s Injection.
Loading Dose:
- Single Loading Dose of 200mg is administered via IV over 30-60 mins.
- Follow-up Dose: After 12 Hrs 200mg/day in 2 divided dosages for 5-7days.
- Maintenance Dose: 300-400mg/day in 2 divided dosages
SWITCHING FROM ORAL TO INTRAVENOUS DOSING:
When switching from oral Lalap 200mg/20ml Injection 1 vial the initial total daily intravenous dosage of Lalap 200mg/20ml Injection 1 vial should be equivalent to the total daily dosage and frequency of oral Lalap 200mg/20ml Injection 1 vial and should be given IV over 30 to 60 minutes.
SWITCHING FROM INTRAVENOUS TO ORAL DOSING:
At the end of the intravenous treatment period, the patient may be switched to oral Lalap 200mg/20ml Injection 1 vial administration at the equivalent daily dosage and frequency of the intravenous administration.
PATIENTS WITH RENAL IMPAIRMENT:
No dose adjustment is necessary for patients with mild to moderate renal impairment. A maximum dose of 300mg/day of Lalap 200mg/20ml Injection 1 vial is recommended for patients with severe renal impairment.
PATIENTS WITH HEPATIC IMPAIRMENT:
The dose calculation should be done with caution in patients with hepatic impairment. A maximum dose of 300mg/day is recommended for patients with mild or moderate hepatic impairment. Lalap 200mg/20ml Injection 1 vial is not recommended in patients with severe hepatic impairment.
Pregnancy And Lactation
There are no satisfactory and well-controlled studies about the Lalap 200mg/20ml Injection 1 vial in pregnant women. Lalap 200mg/20ml Injection 1 vial should be used during pregnancy only if the possible benefit validates the possible risk to the fetus.
